Now here comes the good part! Surprisingly, school. This has been one of my favorite days for a very long time for some reason. Everyone was tired and chill, but giddy and spontaneous. It reflected how I always feel during the hard hours of school, so it was nice to feel a part of the crowd.
Chorus started out weird... There was nothing to do. Livvy and Lex are my wonderful favorites here. Quote: "Kaylene, how come you're allow to use your hands but everyone else has to use their mouths?" *note: We were feeding each other pop-tarts for breakfast and didn't let people use their hands, they had to eat from mine. :) Shout out to Medich for taking the biggest bite ever.* We took a bunch of pictures, mostly with leh Wubz, but one of my favorites was with Kemmerer surprisingly enough. Quote: "Someone touch his tongue! I don't have the balls." Yes, I shouted this across the chorus room. I had the balls to say it, just not do it. We then laid (lain? lied? lay? firk) on each other stomachs. Perfectly comfortable and not weird at all. I can deal with awkwardness, so for me it's other people's issue if they have a problem with me. I feel like that's a very good way to live life.
So then I went to guard after school. I don't know what was with everyone, but we were just so tired. We all practically laid (lain? lied? firk) down and took naps. But we laughed about things and talked. It felt like we actually bonded, which is maybe what we needed. This is how people get close. They don't care what others think, but they make the best out of a random situation and let it happen. I love the guard, and it may be one of the better decisions I've made to join it in high school. Here are some pictures of the people I adore. Frankie is perfect. :) I'll nail that double on rifle soon, I promise.
