I've heard so many people say lately that tomorrow is the day Personal Projects are due. Though this is true, but not for me 'cause I turned mine in early for bonus points today, it is also Leap Day.
Personally, I think there's something fascinating and magical about Leap Day. When you are sitting in bed on Leap Day, you can't say last year that you were doing the same thing, because Leap Day did not exist last year. So you can only say for a moment that everything you did on a Leap Day one year happened last year or some other year. What I mean is, how can you crunch everything on February 29 into one moment to say so were doing something on February 29 when there is only a February 28 and March 1 on other years? It alters time and space. Literally.
I hope that there is some kind of magic out there on Leap Day 2012. It would be a shame to have this day as only a placeholder.
I hope the magic touches me.
