Changed but Easily Forgotten

I can remember a day when I lost myself.

I can remember a day when life was a dream.

I can remember a day when I used to think nothing mattered but me.

I can remember a day when I changed all my habits.

I can remember a day when I would get frustrated and complain.

I can remember a day being mad at the world's lies.

I can remember a day being mad at you because of your lies.

Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. And that apple still sits there, rotting away right next to that same ol' tree.
